2021 was quite the year for us. We are thrilled to be the winners of the Jackson Hole Sotheby’s International Realty 2021 Grinder Award! Each year, this award goes to the JHSIR team with the highest number of successful transactions. We represented 74 sides at Teton Valley real estate closings in 2021, and we were fortunate to represent a variety of buyers and sellers in both residential and land transactions.
Thank you all for your amazing support – we couldn’t do this without you and we are so grateful for our incredible community!

More about the Jackson Hole Sotheby’s International Realty Grinder Award:
“Success in the real estate business is built on effort and consistency. We’re in the uncomfortable position of being able to control the “inputs” (that is, the effort) but we do not have direct control over the “outputs” – that is, we never have a direct say in whether or not an offer gets accepted or a property actual makes its way to closing.
“Rise and grind” is one of the real estate industry’s most popular mottos, as we put in countless hours/weeks/years of behind-the-scenes effort – almost like a professional athlete – for the few brief moments with a client when everything comes together and we’re able to hand someone the keys to their new home.
In the current market climate where Teton County, Wyoming might see 700 transactions in the course of a calendar year, quick math would suggest that each member of the 700-strong Teton Board of Realtors *might* have two closings in a twelve-month period.
If you’re able to put together one transaction per quarter in this climate with very little inventory, you’re more than exceeding your Realtor peers, doubling what an “average” Realtor might transact in 2021.
If you could possibly close one transaction per month in the post-covid market, you’re operating in a very narrow band of the regional real estate community.
Through Halloween, our Grinder Award Winners for 2021 somehow managed to stitch together nearly 60 closings in the first ten months of the year. They’re operating at a pace and tempo that few Realtors – if any – in our market can match. More impressive still is the fact that they’ve been maintaining this mind-numbing pace for the better part of a decade, putting in countless hours/weeks/years of efforts for the benefit of their customers and clients.
Congratulations to Joanne LaBelle and Natalie Volcko, our winners of the 2021 JHSIR Grinder Award!”
